Our why

There´s no doubt that a learning (r)evolution is undergoing across the world.

Indeed, despite the fact that a growing number of papers has been published about the need and options for changing the educational paradigm, the same research is not being discussed or implemented in many education institutions or in the school system in general.
As the Future of Learning report states: “For a talent revolution to take place, governments and businesses will need to profoundly change their approach to education, skills and employment, and their approach to working with each other."

The need and the expectations are clear.
It´s now up to the ‘how’ and the process that will guide educators and learning communities on this change process towards a more desired, meaningful and sustainable learning paradigm.
"65% of children entering primary school today will ultimately end up working in completely new job types that don't yet exist"

Our story

The Learningshift project is a shared dream come true.
Six organizations from five different european countries shared common expectations, whishes and concerns about the future of learning.
The six knew in advance what the future of learning could be in theory. With the support of the Erasmus+ Programme, the consortium will now act to drive a force of change agents who will apply it to practice!
